UPDATE 23 AUGUST - Unfortunately, the Village Picnic event planned for Saturday 24th August has been postponed due to predicted heavy rain. We are sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment.
Car parking will be available onsite for those that need it. Bring your own chairs, blankets and picnic - no need to bring drinks as The Yard of Ale will be open!
We are planning to run some activities, particularly for children of the village. We will also be giving everyone the opportunity to take a tour around the site.
We would welcome local craft stalls, artists etc. and those who would like to demonstrate and share a particular skill, though stall holders will need to provide their own equipment.
For anyone that would like to run a stall or an activity, please contact us at eventsffnorthiam@gmail.com
We had a very successful Curry Night at the end of June at The Yard of Ale, where almost 50 people enjoyed a tasty meal from Sahebs with their beer. Thankfully the weather held out and we had an enjoyable evening. Very many thanks to the team at Sahebs for being such a great partner to collaborate with. We are sure we will look to run another event like this before too long.
Northiam's pop-up-pub, The Yard of Ale, will trade for one further weekend this summer, over the long bank holiday August weekend. We've extended our range of local ales, so come along to sample them!
Opening hours in August are:
Friday 23rd 4-9pm
Saturday 24th 2-9pm
Sunday 25th 2-8pm
Monday 26th 2-8pm
Our 'surgeries' will continue to run for residents who are keen to find out more about St Francis Fields and plans for the estate. They will be held at the Oast House on the first Tuesday of the month, from 10.30am to 11.30am. We relish the opportunity to chat through our aspirations for the site with people across the village.
